Low profile Hollow Reaction Torque Sensor RTT12 utilizes strain gauge technology offering 20Nm, 50Nm, 100Nm and 200Nm four rated capacities. Hollow torque transducer RTT12 consists of two flanges and measures the torsional force between them. While intended primarily for static torque measurement in both clockwise and anticlockwise direction, RTT12 can also measure rotating torque due to there is an equal and opposite reaction for every action. The center thru-hole allows the rotating shaft passes through it and the reaction moment of the rotating shaft can be measured regardless of the rotational speed. Reaction torque cell RTT12 has no moving parts and is maintenance free, they are more cost-effective and durable than rotary torque meters. Typical applications include robot joint torque measurement and feedback, torsional test machines, actuator performance testing and process control equipment.
