Web tension sensor STAG is a line of flange load cells engineered by LCS, it is generally installed at both ends of the roller to achieve real-time detection and feedback of tension. Web tension load cell STAG is integrated with a NSK 2203 bearing to accommodate shafts with 17mm diameter, rated capacities are available in 0.3kN, 0.5kN, 1kN and 2kN, they will be delivered with consistent rated output which facilitates signal processing. In the printing, packaging, paper manufacturing or textile industry, the uniform web tension of the material to be processed is crucial for a trouble-free process flow. A too low tension, for example, can result in the material not being guided properly. If the tension is too high, the material is stretched, which in turn can distort processes such as printing and cutting or even cause the material to tear.
